Basses have similar appearances to electric guitars but with longer necks and strings allowing it to play a lower range of tones. Most commonly seen with only four strings, the bass can have five, six or more strings! Similar to the electric guitar, the bass uses pickups to take in the sound from the strings and make it louder through the use of an amplifier.

The acoustic guitar is great for practicing at home or taking to the beach! We have several body styles to choose from! Classical nylon, dreadnought steel string, parlor guitars or mini jumbo sizes. Each one has it's own unique tone.               With a solid top guitar you will get better wood quality and with it a beautiful look and sound. We also have many acoustic/electrics that have a pickup built into them allowing you to amplify your acoustic's great sound!

Electric Guitar Teacher

Known for it's ability to make "screaming solos", the electric guitar can be seen in most any rock, country, or jazz band. The electric guitar uses pickups to take in the sound of the strings and make it loud through use of an amplifier. This will give anyone a big tone!         Come in to Music Village to try one out! You'll love the inexpensive and high quality guitars we carry.
