Music teacher since 1970
Teaching since2000 at Music Village ( He also taught Band at Redwood Middle School in Saratoga, CA)
Lessons for ages 8 and up

Teaching style: Jazz, classical, rock... all styles

Teaching philosophy: "... he teaches each student from their own perspective."

Musical Education: Graduate from Military School of Music Norfolk , VA, Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from San Jose State University

Musical influence: Richard Stoltzman, John Coltrane, Kenny Garrett, and Dexter Gordan

Credits include (live & studio): Tom has played with many, many people such as Herbie Hancock, William Sabatini, Virgil Fox, Main Ingredient, Odessa and various funk, rock, and soul bands for the last ten years. Currently he is performing with a variety of big bands in the Bay Area all while being an active member in the San Jose Metropolitan Concert Band.
